Sunset in the Prairies and sunrise in the Badlands. It was a good weekend.
Dinosaur Provincial Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is like stepping into another world, filled with abundant fossils, strange wildlife and impressive landscapes.
While visiting Dinosaur Provincial Park, Myself, Mike Seehagel and Mike Morrison got to take part in a fossil dig that contributes to ongoing research at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Holding a fossil of a dinosaur that roamed the Earth 77 million years ago is a hard feeling to describe. It was all very surreal and an experience I won’t forget.
