I recently partnered with Travel Alberta to spend a weekend away in Priddis and the surrounding rural area. A weekend out in the country filled with horseback riding, gin drinking, fine-dining and country exploring. It was the perfect way to forget about the city and the occasional craziness it can create.
Homeplace Ranch - Owned by the Makenny family since 1974, Mac offers exceptional day riding, horseback riding lessons and horse awareness programs in the western foothills. This was by far one of the best experiences I have had in recent times and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to reconnect with nature.
Eau Claire Distillery - Alberta’s first independent craft distillery, Eau Claire uses directly sourced natural ingredients to ensure the best flavors are inherent in every batch. They are passionate about what they do and it's very apparent when "sampling" their drinks. This will be the summer of Eau Claire Gin at the Amat residence.
Azuridge - The stone, the timber, the sweeping glass – Azuridge features three properties centered in 13 acres of park-like grounds, hidden in the rolling hills of Southern Alberta. If James Bond came to Alberta this is where he would stay. Seriously.
